Are Nelson Products suitable for Sports applications?

I wish to bury a Nelson Pop-up within a Sports Field and am worried about damage to the unit.

Are there any Products suitable for Bunker Irrigation on Golf?

I am interested in irrigating a municipal area automatically with Pop-ups. The client has a pump and tank with pipework installed with no power available out in the park. What can I do?
